Oscar thoughts
I'm behind this year.
"Up in the Air" was very, very good, and so far it's easily my favorite of the year. "Inglorious Basterds" was Tarantino's best since "Pulp Fiction," so I expect some kind of nomination. "Up" is gonna win best animated film without a doubt. It doesn't seem like a great year. Not bad, just not great.

What did you think of "The Road," by the way?
I didn't see it. We got to the AMC, and they were charging like $20 a ticket for that new stupid fucking section, so we said fuck it.
